ABOUT THIS ARTWORK: NUMBER 19
(It's not pretty. It started out as a painting of the intriguing surface of the Covid 19 virus. Lots of artists were painting it. But then my rendition immediately took a turn. After Floyd's death, the largest giving event in the written history of the world (top of canvas) was basically ignored by media. Coverage of the massive giving by human being around the world, was exchanged for fighting and the growing fear rapture of Covid 19. My canvas was started in March 2020 and rapidly deteriorated into fire, empty buildings that were once businesses, a faceless new leader more powerful than any of our public leaders, a freedom train that led to a no-where-land called "greener pasture". Finally, at the bottom of the canvas, the people walked with no unity, heads down, looking at phones for truth and instruction, while big government provides assistance. The latter is depicted by the tall, big breasted women spraying milk (government assistance) over the people. This canvas is not future telling - I don't believe in that. I was painting what I saw happening in 2020 based on common sense based on life's experience, knowledge of mass media marketing and actual fact based statistics (without fear provoking and incorrect correlations.
